Patterns and Signals
Urban Immersion was a week long of activities that helped broaden the way we research and find information. Using Google is one way of researching but reading facts is far different from being out in the field using all our senses. After doing various activities exploring the strength of our senses, we had to create our own mapping of Barcelona. Although we all live in the same city, each student had a different perspective in how they saw the city. The maps were all creatively done, whether it was color analysis, textures of each neighborhood, sounds and smells, to the documentation of a commute.
